Protect Salmon - Please don't Build Dams or Disturb the Creek
Any disturbance to the gravel in this creek can be fatal to salmon. Coho Salmon assume many different forms throughout their life. In the fall, adult Salmon return from the ocean to spawn and deposit their eggs in the gravel. The young emerge in the spring and eventually swim back to the ocean, beginning the cycle again.

This piece received an honorable mention, 2d commercial art category in the 1998 Beyond the Canvas Art Contest, sponsored by Meta Creations.
